JOURNEYMAN
You can watch the birds fly
And wonder
Why was not I given the sky?
Envy; It is naturally bred
To those born in the tangle
Of hardships’ web
But if channeled true
The envious eye
Will bare life’s greatest gift to you
For in spite of disgrace
You have been given Ambition
In the untaken space of prosperities’ place
So never mind the thickened kings
Who have not bestowed you with their silken strings
The sky is unclaimed
And you bear wisdoms’ greatest means;
To build your own
Golden Wings
